FG begins recruitment of community managers across 36 states for 3MTT

The Federal Government has commenced the recruitment of community managers under its ongoing Three Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme.

The Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, announced this in a statement.

According to information provided by the ministry, 37 learning community managers will be hired nationwide as a result of the recruitment drive to oversee program participants’ activities.

The ministry stated in a post on X: “We are seeking 37 Learning Community Managers across Nigeria to coordinate the activities of Community members as we commence the #3MTT initiative.

The #3MTT Learning Community is a group of students that have complete access to organized material and a supportive student network.

The hiring period began on Monday, November 20. Remember that the government’s implementation plans indicated that the training will take place in three stages. Thirty thousand people are anticipated to be accommodated in the first phase, three million in the second, and three million in the third.

“Leading, building, and maintaining 3MTT’s community of technical talent and its initiatives within your state (internally and externally) and scalable programs that attract a broad, diverse group of aspiring Nigerian Technologists and prepare them for the tech workforce as well as other opportunities in the digital economy in your state,” the ministry explained in an explanation of the job specifications for the 3MTT Community Manager.

“To bring new and existing community members and fellows to the program, you must lead the community and own the 3MTT brand in your state. Create and maintain a state- and region-specific plan, as well as outreach and messaging for the general public.

“Developing development plans, success measurements, and building models to ensure the long-term growth and success of the 3MTT community in your state. monitoring the process of finding volunteer facilitators, experts, locations, hubs, and other stakeholders to organize meet-ups and other events in Nigeria, as well as assisting the team in developing and monitoring metrics to assess learner progress and selection efficacy.
